St.Olaves Drainage Mill

This tiny, timber boarded trestle drainage mill with a scoopwheel is visible from road and river and can be approached by footpath from the bridge. It is situated on the east bank of the River Waveney, just below St Olaves' bridge on the A143. Major works are complete following storm damage but access is still restricted due to brickwork repairs required to the outfall waterlane.

Boardman's Drainage Mill

This open-framed timber trestle drainage mill with miniature cap, sails, fantail and turbine is situated on the east bank of the River Ant at How Hill and is visible at all times from the river and public footpath.

Clayrack Drainage Mill

Situated 200 metres north of Boardman’s Mill and visible at all times from the river and public footpath. The sails of this hollow post drainage mill have been removed pending full restoration.

Wicklewood Cornmill

The sails have now been hoisted back on to the mill. A new group has been formed who will be opening the mill to the public on 16 June, 21 July, 18 August and 15 September 13:00 - 16:00.

Gunton Park Sawmill

This extremely rare water-powered sawmill will be open to visitors and working on 4th Sunday in the month, April - September inclusive 2.00pm - 5.00pm. Please telephone 01362 869394 for confirmation. Members of The Norfolk Industrial Archaeology Society will be running the waterwheels and sawing timber on the open days. Volunteers to help work the mill are welcome.

Old Buckenham Cornmill

This cornmill has the largest diameter tower in England. The mill will be open the second Sunday of each month from April to September 14.00 - 17.00.

Little Cressingham Watermill

This combined wind and water mill is unique, but requires restoration. There may be limited opening during the summer. The exterior of the mill can be viewed from the Trusts land immediately surrounding the mill.

Polkey's and Cadge's Mills and Reedham Marsh Steam Engine House This group of restored buildings will be open Saturday 11 May 11:00 – 15:00. Polkey's Mill may be working wind permitting. Access by boat or the Wherryman's Way riverside walk. No Vehicular access.

Open National Mills weekend 11 – 12 May 2013. Winding and sails turning (wind permitting). Visitor centre and mill open weekends 11:00 - 16:00 from April to September. Other times exterior only. Limited access to mill, some guided tours. No vehicular access along the track to mill. Access on foot along the Wherryman’s Way riverside walk from Hardley Staithe and via boat as there are moorings at the site.  See www.hardley-windmill.org.uk for further details.
